Mezcal Vago Madrecuishe is a small-batch mezcal made from 100% Madrecuishe agave plants grown in the Oaxaca region of Mexico. The agave is slow-roasted in an earthen pit, crushed by a horse-drawn tahona wheel, and naturally fermented in open-air wooden vats before being distilled in copper pot stills. The resulting spirit is complex, with notes of earthy minerals, citrus, smoky agave, and a hint of pepper. It is best enjoyed neat or in cocktails that allow its unique flavors to shine.
